Japanese ... have andvanced method of sanitary control because one is developed first world nation while the other is third world underdeveloped nation.

Yes, it's a really advanced truck that pulls up outside the house opposite and pumps out their septic tank.

I saw (and smelt) a shit truck at work in a shopping arcade in central Nagasaki the other day.

My house is so advanced that we have a squatting loo.

This first world technology is why the Japanese are so clean.

Of course the Japanese are cleaner than Bangladeshis, because their "life standard" is obviously dissimilar in every way.

You have a point. There would need to be a Japanese tradition of alfresco shitting by the roadside to make this a fair comparison.

    O_o @ this thread

I live in a (quite non-Muslim) country where everyone has a bidet at home.

I cannot even think of taking a shit and NOT wash my anus using water AND soap (btw, you gotta use soap with the right pH for that, or your anus will not be happy).
And I wash my (normal, i.e. not circumcised) penis multiple times a day (again, using water and soap).

So, uhm, I think the OP has some strange misconceptions about the hygienic habits of non-Muslim cultures.

Do not look directly at the operational end of the device.

tradition of alfresco shitting by the roadside

The Miskito people have this proud tradition.

A member of one of their most civilised families said to me: "There is a BIG problem with shitting in the Miskitia."

Your comparison is fallacious and absurd - and your response also contains some of the reasons why your comparisons and generalisations on this thread have been fallacious and absurd. Your lack of self awareness of this is another matter altogether.

    No examples provided?

    Stardust

You may have a point with splashes, but I would say you would have to be particularly slapdash to get dirty water splashes. People tend to stay away from splashes on/near the loo.

As to how all family members use the same lota, do your family each have your own toilet?

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

    Is he right though?

Billy, your comparison is faulty. Of course the Japanese are cleaner than Bangladeshis, because their "life standard" is obviously dissimilar in every way. The former have andvanced method of sanitary control because one is developed first world nation while the other is third world underdeveloped nation. Thus, it is unfair to compare them. That is why I didnt compare Bangladeshis with the Masai tribe of Africa, right?

It is important to know for far weightier topics than toilet talk.

    Billy, Ishina seriously?

I will show you my working out and then you show me yours. To determine the Islamic factor in any comparison surely all other variables such as wealth, welfare, education etc have to be kept the same. That is why you can't compare Canada to Pakistan in terms of women's rights or I suspect Japan and Bangladesh in terms of personal hygiene.

Now you could say that it is the Islamic influence that is affecting their wealth, welfare, education etc but that is something else.

I researched other religions as well, apart from Judaism, other religions lack this emphasis on external cleanliness. Even Buddhism merely prone to internal and disregard external cleanliness.

Billy, you are an Ex- Muslim? if not, then your reasoning is flawed to the core. You never receive the Islamic upbringing that emphasize to the minute details about personal hygiene.

Come on, freedom of speech entitled humanity to discuss any topic. Like it or not, Islamic upbringing do concentrate on personal hygiene as if a religious obligation to be fulfilled.

Great.  The rest of us don't need God to tell us how to wipe our asses.  Honestly the obsession some have with the contents of other people's underwear.   Roll Eyes

Yes, Mr. Cheetah. I am aware that God could leave us alone when it comes to cleaning of our asses. However, motivation to clean the asses and keep yourself always clean that originated from God, even if it is a false one, is very powerful and leave a deeper scar and effect on individuals.

Your 'reasoning' is that non Muslims are dirty and unhygienic compared to Muslims because of Islam. This isn't reasoning, its a generalisation and fallacious argument that extrapolates a nominal instruction into a proof of general rule. Its a bizarre little obsession that segues into stupid notions of innate uncleanliness of non believers. Its a bizarre obsession that is essentially cretinous in its generalisation but attended to with some obsessive pride by yourself.
