Right now I'm really enjoying Chris 'Daddy' Dave's work with Robert Glasper, his own trio and others (especially alongside bassist Pino Palladino in D'Angelo's shows as well as José James' new album, or at least that one song that leaked). Very talented and loves his swung beats in true Dilla style! Mmmm.

I agree, I also appreciate her genuine love for soul music which shines through everything she does. It also helps when you've got Raphael Saadiq as your producer (and what a proper tribute to Motown's James Jamerson with the bassline on that song).
