Don't be sad on our account, there really is no need. We're happy to have left Islam behind and to have this place.

I dont think she is being condescending in a bit least. It''s an understandable reaction from any muslim that hasn't experience something like this or see a place like this before. More like a genuine concern.

I know it could be genuine concern, and yes maybe even an attempt to sympathize.. but it can also come from a place of pity, which entails the condescending belief that they (apostates)  could not see the beauty of islam and so poor them, unlike the believers of course who are blessed with sight ..

    either way.. it's not surprising..

Welcome to the forum  Smiley The saddest thing is that you feel sorry for us when there's need to. However, having been a Muslim, I can understand why you would and thanks for the genuine -- albeit slightly condescending -- concern.

Honestly, don't be sad, I've just come to the conclusion that not believing in Islam is preferable and therefore sweeter for me.

    Hi Yousra

I have an idea. If you feel sorry for the people here, you can make them feel better by questioning your beliefs and opening your mind to criticism of Islam Smiley

Dont be sad for us. If you are here then at least try and see the argument from our side. If your religion can answer and stand up to the questioning then you have nothing to worry about. If you are honest with yourself and catch yourself making excuses for your stances then start looking into that.

    Hello Yusra,
Welcome to the forum (assuming you are not a troll pretending to be a Muslim).
It is a little condescending for you to come here and tell us you feel sorry for us that we have tasted the sweetness of imaan and then rejected it, and we will burn in hell.  But I forgive your attitude.  We were like you and then we realised Islam is just another man-made religion.  There is simply no evidence that a personal God exists.  Please watch the video in my signature.
And tell us why you think Islam is the one true religion.

Welcome.  I am not a Muslim, I am ex pentecostal xian.

Do you mind saying more why you reacted as you did to this site?

The vast majority of people on this planet are going to burn in hell for all eternity according to your beliefs.  Do ex muslims burn at a higher temperature?

The best book on this earth is Quran.,So Yousra Don't listen to TheDarkRebel, He is misguiding you.      Feeling the love of God, litterlaly that God has taking you from darkness to light, your dua's that has been answered, the feeling that you want nothing else but God in your life, you are satisfied with all the small things in life etc etc. If you had such an experience in your life, you will never turn your back to your belief.

Interesting.  I used to have very similar feelings about Jesus.  Now, why might that be?
