Hey,

I joined this website a while ago and also posted an introductory post, however, due to my paranoia (I thought my parents would somehow stumble upon this and of course, the consequences would have been serious), I deleted all my previous posts.

I am trying to become a more active member once again!

A bit of a background about me:

I guess, I first started questioning not just Islam, but organised religion and the problems that it has caused. I also at first, tried to justify (no matter how difficult or irrational) some of the beliefs and practices of Islam.

However, at present, what really concerns me is that if God knows everything, in the past, the present and the future, then why would God create imperfect human beings- is this not flawed? If God knows that X person is going to hell, then why would God create X?

Right now, I would say I am a deist and if I ever am going to believe in Islam in the future, then I want it to be a personal choice, not because I am a child of Muslim parents.

It would be interesting to get to know more of you.
