    What a tragedy that Brandon died so young. And how he died too, what a spooky thing. And that movie is all about dying and death, The Crow. And he would have gone on to have a good career in movies.

    There is a lovely paragraph in Alom Shaha's book about how he cried when he watched the Crow when Brandon Lee says to a heroin addict who just injected 'Mother is the word for God on the lips of every child' (because Alom's mum died when he was young he was really affected by it)

    Yeah, makes me sad. The Crow would have been his big break. One of the most darkly satisfying revenge movies I can think of. He was great in it. Movie star looks. Intelligent and nuanced performer. Action star fitness. He'd only been in a few martial arts flicks before then but was an accomplished fighter in his own right despite being under the shadow of his father. He could have been a rising star.
