It's becoming worrying especially how people are getting so gullible these days. It alarms me when i see someone that i know following them,it makes me question their intelligence and wonder if i can associate myself with them

African churches in London are big business - they are flourishing. Its the African churches that are probably keeping Christianity virile and alive and growing in Britain compared to the flatlining traditional churches.

The church goers should make a case against the Pastor for fraud, sue him for everything he's got and distribute it to the poor.

So many need people can be fed with that fortune.

Fools and their money are easily parted. You can't always protect people from their own stupidity. They have every right to spend their money as they see fit. People make all kinds of poor financial decisions all the time - spending too much on clothing, booze, partying, extravagant lifestyles etc instead of saving for their future. This is no different IMO.

Such articles definitely need to be published more widely so people are aware of the hypocrisy and blatant corruption.
And tax exemptions for religious bodies need to be tightened. Flying around in a private jet definitely doesn't contribute to a church's charitable status.

What worries me more is when such delusional people take their children or other vulnerable adults to 'faith healing' sessions, instead of a medical professional and end up doing more harm.

The type of people that follow these crazy pastors are people who couldn't care less about the truth. They're intellectually lazy. Plain and Simple.

As for associating with them. As soon as I find out that a person is practicing and serious about their religion, alarms start going off in my head and I just avoid them completely If I can. I already have more than enough fundamentalists in my family, the last thing I want to do is get involved with more of them.
