Anyone ever read the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen Donaldson? I read them back in my mid-teens and they left a big impression. I wrote a rap based on Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby' about the books, the opening to which I have transcribed below. And yes, I actually do write like this...

Kodanshi, did you just come up with a new type? It looks cool! Solara, you have adorable handwriting. Some of you have really nice penmanship. I miss when good penmanship was an absolute must for a good education. It's a lost art.

Grin thanks. It's usually a lot messier though, unless I really take my time, and I'm already a slow writer. Tongue

It's still cute. I'm usually too tense to write legibly plus I have a condition called essential tremors. It pretty much means my hands shake nonstop. It's pretty frustrating when I'm trying to write a check.

One of the sexiest handwriting styles I've seen. Can't read it though, but there are always trade-offs

Sorry to hear that. But seriously… cheques? They still exist as a real thing?!

Thank you very much. It’s simply an obsession with making some of my letters symmetrical with others (S and K, for example), which evolved through love of Arabic calligraphy and Black Metal logos, plus various other insanities.
