    What an asshole. Picking on a person's disability and almost taunting/ridiculing him for it. The irony is, Prof Hawking has carried on living for decades and doing great things with his life despite the disability.

    Anyway, it is a complete strawman argument by this douche about Hawking's rejection of theism.

    I have noticed many religious authorities, are not interested in defending religion nor educating the believers, as much as targeting the believers who would fall Pray for ignorance. If you notice his tonality and body gestures when he said, "Genius Mathematician....university...etc" It's clearly said in a sarcastic tonality. It's almost like an embedded question "You might be a genius, but you're a fool to not believe in God. Do you think you're smarter than the all of us ? You don't have god, you miserable scientist"...something along those lines.  Whatever Bilal meant, he did not mean to compliment these amazing minds by calling them "Genius". The voice tonality says it all.  He makes it sound that Hawkins is an atheist Only because of his spinal condition and he was treated unfairly by god (pre-supposing god exists) . What better way to plant a seed in the believer's mind to make great men like Hawkins and Dawkins look weak. He is painting a wrong picture of these great minds. This is misleading the Muslims from exploring the works of Dawkins and Hawkins. I feel sorry for the listeners who accept these nonsense without question.

    This is really something to feel ashamed of. Most religions install "obedience to authority" in our minds ever since we were young. Very few of us learn to question authority. Hence we remain unchanged. This is true in countries like India, Pakistan and especially amongst Muslims. We were never thought to analyze and criticize the works of people within the tribe. Scientists criticize and disprove scientific hypothesis put forth by other scientists. This is not to insult them, but to arrive closer to the truth. But there is a notion amongst the believers to NOT to criticize religious authorities like Mullahs and Sheiks.  hence we see "geniuses" and "brilliant mullahs" like Bilal writing books for the youth to learn and grow into ignorance (Al-Alethia ) Most of these people are preachers not because they want to help the community, but to make their efforts seem worthwhile. If people like Bilal were smart enough to be evolutionists, he wouldn't be preaching Islam. He probably spent a lot of time studying and researching Islam, he made it his purpose to enforce his views amongst other ignorant Muslims simply to seem worthy of his previous efforts. This is my intuition.
