If she was never sent to school, never got a job, stayed at home raising kids and looked after her husband. This wouldn't have happened.

that is very very unfortunate. She had whole life in front of her .. You can not kill yourself just because some idiot wrote something on twitter.. Indeed forums like these would help people like her.. Any one here would would have easily guided her out of that tragedy as she can share that twitter nonsense anonymously in a forum like this..

It's said what she had to go through. And I agree with stardust we need to get more exposure to this forum and organization.

The only people who should feel guilty are the stalker and the muslim imams/preachers who lay the foundation for this type of depression to occur.

Well are there efforts or more things societies online to help people like her cope? It seems to me there is support, but it's scattered between forums and discussions and rants about Islam. Are there places for an ex-Muslim to go on and know where to get the support they need?

From what is written on the article, it is more because of
- The letter that were sent to her parent, informing them she was having non-Muslim boyfriends
- Her own guilt at what she did, because she was not at all an ex-Muslim if what is said on the article is true.
It seems the only link with Facebook here is that it helps stalkers to stalk you.
