That is exactly what I did- Google search. It has been about 12 yrs since I left Islam and 10 since I turned to Atheism so it has been quite a while since I started questioning Islam. I know that if I would have seen any advertising for the CEMB then, I would definitely not go. That would be the same (in my eyes) as the religious pro-lifers here that take out billboards with fetuses on them.

Do you think it might be helpful in a way though? A sort of in your face "Hey, you're not alone. There are others like you?"

That is a good question. I cannot speak for anyone but myself. I find "in your face" tactics off putting. I find that people that use this are substituting logic for volume. But other people- especially younger (potential) apostates, may find this technique helpful.

Was reading some btl comments in the guardian a couple of years back and someone had posted a response to an event/media story from either Hassan or Maryam of the CEMB. Googled it.

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

I watched all of CEMB videos on you-tube channels during my research days and came to know, after 3 or 4 months I visited the site but not wished to be a member for the sake of not to get influenced of other Ex-Muslims, I wanted to get at the destination through my own rational way.

If Allah is most merciful He should reveal His book unambiguous, complete (covering complete guidance for all time without need of any Hadith or Tafseer), easily and undoubtedly translatable to every language of world with a vivid sign of its proof from Him and its reach to every single human being.
