Well I currently live in the UK. I do believe that there is a god but I'm not a Muslim. I was bought up to be a Muslim but I honestly don't believe many things in the religion. My whole family is really religious but I'm lucky enough to have my mom she never tried to impose anything on me such as the hijab. She would just make me learn the religion and think for myself.

At the moment I'm doing my a levels (like any other 17 yr old)

I found this forum by just typing ex muslim

Somali girls can be gorgeous but beware some of them are known to be very crazy lol

well you have your own small god., and i have my own god.. And my god is not "noun" but it is "adjective" .,

Well there is nothing wrong with people who are religious and you can interact with them in home and outside home. We should not worry about them as long as they keep their god with in themselves and don't orce that god politics on others.
You have wonderful Mom.. who happened to believe in her own Islam which is perfectly with in her own rights.

So then.. Why did you type Ex-Muslim on to Google? and what good reasons would you give to put these words " I do believe that there is a god but I'm not a Muslim." in your post?

I don't believe in islam it's as simple as that, I wanted to see those who were also ex muslims and see what they believe/or don't and the reasons behind it

It's really cool that you are originally Somali! I'm actually half Ethiopian and half Yemeni but my mother can fluently speak Somali because she was once a refugee in Djibouti. Well anyway, it's nice meeting you!
