On slavery, they are in fact justifying it on the grounds they were well treated, like being castrated for example...

yes, but back in the day I preferred the more obnoxious label of "revert". So does that now mean that I am "disreverted" or "unreverted"? I also am really enjoying the label of "dejabi". ahh, so many names, so little time.....

I am afraid I might not see my nieces and nephews again if I come out to certain family members. Saddening since I know they are very bright children and I want the very best for them. I feel like I should keep pretending just so I can see them grow and provide moral guidance and show them another side to the world. But I am also trapped in that same ideology if I continue to stay within the community.

My parents know but extended family does not, yet.
