    It's just standard behaviour of many prey animals to freeze out of fear when pinned. They will stop making a sound too many times because they don't want the predator to think they are hurt. The man is deluding himself and others by saying they are submitting to the name of Allah to be slaughtered. Utter bollocks but a religious mind would eat that up without smelling the bullshit first.

    i don't have sheep but planning to buy a farm one day. i gotta try this rather stupid experiment. I have some test cases; instead of chanting some verse from the quran, say something from the satanic bible.
    I wonder if the sheep would move then.

    Lots of animals freeze as a defence mechanism. Type in "Tonic immobility" in Wikipedia for examples. You must have heard the term "playing possum" where an animal lays still pretending to be dead.

    It's been observed in rabbits too in the wild. Rabbits and goats/sheep in the wild will freeze and remain still to blend into their surroundings when they feel they have no where to escape from a predator.

    Neil Armstrong is said to have converted to Islam upon hearing the Adhan (call to prayer) on the moon. A typical version of the story follows:
