    This fellow bangs on about objective purpose yet does nothing to substantiate his claim. I mean let's hypothetically assume that all that quranic and hadith shit is authentic and can adequately serve as a blueprint for contemporaneous moral standards. If we project autonomy onto divine decree then we're immediately violating the Quran because nothing can transpire without Allah's will. This immediately sets up a hilarious mechanism of doublethink because on one hand islam is fatalistic where as on the other hand it is libertarian. So mr. Tzortzis must conveniently assert that humans are free agents when deemed prudent and contend the inverse when it is also necessary.

    What islamic determinists fail to realise is that everything is determined by Allah prior to conception, and I mean everything so much as it boils down to the ticking away of time and me idly writing this post. Therefore, there is absolutely no room for human intervention. none. scrap this idiocy.

    Christian theologians have managed to evade this by establishing a God that is constrained by time but this results in them conceding to an imperfect God which is just a portentous way of saying that the idea of an anthropomorphic deity is a) the unexplained or B) a risible manner in which to comprehend human psychology and the phenomena of any given epoch.

    Rationally then, mr. Tzortzis would have to admit to an imperfect deity to assert purpose onto humans whilst acknowledging their wholly autonomous nature.

    Well what do we have here, mr. Tzortzis has inadvertently taken himself outside of the fold of Islam.
