Thanks, I have had questions about Islam, about how Muslims experience Islam. This post is very interesting and informative.

Abdullah Sameer - My Journey From Islam

Good one.... Good Journey dear Abdullah Sameer .,It is life   we have to move on...

    Quote
I was born Ismaili in Kenya and came to Canada when I was young.  When I was in high school, I found Islam.  A friend offered me the Quran to read and I was amazed at how I found God’s message to me and how he wanted me to live my life. I read the entire book cover to cover in English, and proceeded to read Sahih Bukhari cover to cover (summarized edition).  For many years I was still Ismaili, but I would attend conventions like ISNA Canada and also go to local Young Muslim events such as Suhaib Webb’s “Zina The Disease with 1000 Faces.”  After some time I decided Ismailism was a perversion of the true message of Islam and I started to identify myself as a Sunni Muslim, around the age of 16 to 18.

When I became Muslim, I followed Islam as much as possible to the best of my ability.  This meant that even though I was leaving home for the first time and living on university campus, I had to avoid all the fun that my friends around me were having with girls and alcohol. I completely abstained from these vices.

that is what Abdullah Sameer says at his blog...

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

why do you post this here?

ElToro  asks  question., and also writes a post here  but ElToro  is not  reading me  not reading this folder ..at http://www.councilofexmuslims.com/index.php?topic=30499.0

So I am going to put a proposal here.,   " that   I  am NOT going to answer that question"    UNLESS  ElToro  READS THAT FOLDER    and writes a response in that folder

Yeezevee is posting unrelated stuff to any folder.

I'm reading this great post of an Ex-Muslim and then Yeezevee post a blog of an radical Muslim. I don't see the any link of it. Why? Why does Yeezevee do that?
If Yeezevee would write a short explanation before Yeezevee posts something it would be much better to understand. Such as: "I'm posting this blog of a radical Muslim under the topic "Why I left Islam" because this guy also turned later to an Ex-Muslim". That would be so much better and easier to understand. Or is this a response to somebody? Then Yeezevee should quote him, like Yeezevee did with ElToro.

Why should I now go and read a completely other folder to get a response to my question?
Why does Yeezevee copy a post of me which has nothing to do with this question?

You had 3 ElToro's in only 2 sentences  Wink

You see, you is much nicer and personal when talking to someone directly  Smiley

    Hi yeezevee,

Yes, of course you can. I'm going to answer your question right now without asking you to read in any order folder first:
No it's not me. I couldn't write something great as this.

    Yours sincerely,
    ElToro
