I'm sure those things are 'but' inventions of the CNS considering they wouldn't exist without external stimuli. The above sounds very 'sense-data' theory to me. All the same, it doesn't define consciousness, it just describes neurological processes that are believed to cause it. Conspicuously omitted is a definition of the subjective, experiential quality of consciousness, which is of course what people generally understand by the term.

    *Runs like fuck*

But someone of your caliber should already understand that any definition of consciousness would fall short, since it's a colloquial umbrella concept used to allude to a broad territory of interconnected physics, functions, processes, and neurobiology. So to ask for a definition is a mistake.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

can you explain a painting , beyond a canvas filled with some chemicals or colors?

All i know is what was told,

All i am is what i think,
All i know NOT is who i am.

a wave of thoughts goes in and comes out with answers from the consciousnesses? sounds poetic to me ..
your point being that your scientific thinking helps you investigate how tides work? so...when you look at a peacock you see a species of a bird and you go about tracing its scientific history.

How is the universe with scientific understanding any less beautiful than the universe without scientific understanding? Because that's what you seem to be suggesting, or at least working towards.

    universe with science = beauitful.(positive)
universe without science = beautiful(positive) + the feeling of gratification (positive) .
    2positive > 1

Precisely! I simply objected to the matter-of-fact, it's-all-explained-away simplistic tone expressed in that quotation.

this modification , is not the act of the brain. but the consciousness. You saw 2>1 as "CUZ 2 IZ BETTUR DEN 1" makes you unique and i see the beauty in it + gratify the creator of this beautiful modification.

Rodolfo Llinás is one of the fathers of modern neuroscience. A short quotation of his work is only simplistic by virtue of it being a short quote, not by virtue of his ideas being simplistic.

Ok my pantheist belief has changed a little to describe form, or this universe. There was an "Architect" God, who was a hermaphrodite created lesser Gods who were both male and female, and they created children "Lesser Gods" through process of sex. There were many different Gods and Goddesses finally there was Sophia, who created Jehovah (Abrahamic God). She did not have a husband, so she created him like virgin birth. This God was a monster. He created the material realm and this universe. Sophia contacted Satan and told him about the fruit of knowledge. Adam and Eve ate the fruit (apple) symbolizes thought. From thought there began to rebel against Jehovah.  This is story my brother told me. It does explain why Abrahamic God enjoys torturing human beings and is on a power trip wanting only himself to be worshiped. Proof? This is Gnosticism, but a simpler version and to understand it is very complex. The religion is the religion of the free mason. Interesting story... Do I believe it? I don't know. There could me multiple different universes. It does explain form of the universe. I believe the architect is timeless, formless, and most omnipotent.
