  • Where are good places to donate?

I'm very wary of charities and such. But like are legit organizations, that help ex-Muslims? or maybe shelters for women? That you can donate to?

Ok, when I read the post it sounds quite specific.

It was specific ^_^ but no matter.

Does donations to cemb go to other things besides server space.

AFAIK CEMB donations go to the actual organisation, not the forum.
When you donate, you can usually type a message (if you use Paypal anyway). I always make sure the message says how much goes to the org and how much should go to the forum. Otherwise the forum misses out I think.
I suppose the org funds go towards more campaigns etc.

This was the thread where Os clarified things - http://www.councilofexmuslims.com/index.php?topic=21120.msg610609#msg610609

Well it goes the the CEMB as a whole, but you can include a note saying that you're donating to the forum. Mind you, the CEMB pays the hosting costs anyway, so in practice it makes little difference.

So my explanation was crap Tongue

An ex-Muslim pimp is what you're looking for it seems.

No not funny. I would also suggest a handsome donation to CEMB.
