Hi my name is mohamed I was born in Somalia 1992 , but I was raised in UAE dubai , I moved there when I was five in 1997, and my family enrolled me in Islamic boarding school , so I was basically raised up to be a devoted Muslim, after my family moved to America in 1999, I stared living in the school hostel full time, and I was left behind to get a better education as muslim, but ironically the Islamic school had the opposite effect on me, I stopped praying for Allah and started praying out of fear for my sadistic hostel principal, who used to punish us in creative ways, so after I graduated I was a muslim in name only , although i memorized half of the quran I still had my doubts about islam , but the things that made me reject islam were the things I researched and read later on, things that they did not teach me in school, like the truth about slavery in islam , among a lot of other things, to end this I can’t explain my full journey to denial because it toke a lot of years , and there were a lot of things I had to justify to myself to keep on believing, but at the end my morals and islam couldn’t go hand in hand.
this the fastest and the shortest intro i could write
