A question I wanted to ask out of curiosity. Did anyone have any specific dreams about Mohammed? Any specific dreams about Islam?

And most importantly, any dreams AGAINST islam? By against, I mean, any event in the dream that points towards Islam being a bad, evil, immoral, untrue religion.

Anyways, can you give me an example  dance I read your dream about the dissapearance of the kaaba before.

I literally have dreams related to Islam almost every night. They sort of vary in theme and topic.

Sometimes I am leading the prayer and I run out of breath as I am reciting. I literally wake up breathing heavy.

Sometimes I am back in Madinah in the Prophet’s mosque. Once in one of the madina dreams, I stayed over after Isha to recite qur’an, and for some reason I got a shovel and I started to dig. I dug underground and found what was like a crypt full of dead bodies. One of the dead bodies was the prophet, I realized, and his body was decomposed. I took this as a sign that he was not a real messenger and that I  needed to plan my escape out of the city. I ended up hopping on like this cart on a track (very similar to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) and riding my way out of the city under ground. I ended up on this sunny beach and there was a smiling girl waiting, and she greeted me saying “don’t worry, you’ll be happy here.”

Recently, I had a dream that I was in a masjid in Saudi Arabia and the Imam walked in and asked me to call the iqamah for prayer. After each phrase I uttered, he made a comment. So when I said Allahu akbar allahu akbar, he said, “Yes, this is true” and when I said Laa ilaha illa lah “he said “This is always good and it is never to late to use this.”

Another dream I had involved me going to a masjid on jumuah and getting into an argument with Muslims about why I don’t believe anymore.

The point I’m making is that these dreams vary in topic and style. I view them as random regurgitations from my subconscious rather than messages inspired to lead me in one direction or another. I spent the overwhelming majority of my life believing in Islam. The fact that it still pops up in my dreams is not surprising to me.

Yeah, ofcourse. Dreams are random regurgitations like you said! Anyways, that was very interesting! Especially the dream about seeing the dead messenger lol. Thanks Smiley

I do have dreams about Islam, but only occasionally. They are usually about my old Muslim buddies or about being in Kuwait, and often have something to do with my apostasy, but not always. Sometimes it's just a conversation, and other times it will be some sort of action scene. I don't really remember anything specific, though.

The only dream I can remember having was many years ago, whilst I was still a newb ex muslim (well newbish).

I dreamed Mohammed was chasing me through the desert with my ex husband, because they were going to kill me.  I was wearing a full veil and they were chasing me with swords to behead me.  I kept running, and I started taking off my veil, my hijab etc and throwing them behind me because I needed to speed up and they were slowing me down.  I kept running and running and eventually came to the shore and the ocean, no clothes on because I had thrown them all away.

And I stood and looked out at the horizon, they weren't chasing me anymore, I had managed to escape, and I was free.

Was an amazing dream I kid you not, still very fresh in my mind.  So vibrant and realistic, at times scary and at the end, absolutely exhilarating.

wow berbs that dream sounds crazy

oh, lawrdy, i dream about muslims all the time.  mostly I am just yelling at them about how crazy they are for believing in Islam and trying to refute their various ridiculous ideas.  i probably dream about it so much because I don't get a chance to do it in real life.  but when I work on my meditation, those kind of dreams dissipate and it's back to the dreams where I am flying or walking in a public place totally naked, you know, normal stuff.  lol.   Cheesy

I don't think I ever had an Islamic dream, but yeah that dream sounds scary, berbs.

I can't remember last time I had a dream that was not absurd or nonsensical. Like, a couple of days ago I had a dream were I was walking through some streets, but I was doing so upside down. And it wasn't like I was walking with my arms, but my head was slightly levitated from the ground and my feet were moving as if I was actually walking with them.   Huh?

A couple of months ago I dreamed that it was raining Jack Daniels all over the world. I had images of historical sites like the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids etc immersed in thy holy whiskey. A simultaneously drunk world. It is said that some dreams are musings of real life desires and I think this might just be one.  Cheesy

damn  you are a lucky lady tabularasa. I must have read 100s of books on Islam and written 1000s of posts against Islam  but never had a single dream either against or for Islam..
