    It is probably about the difference between wanting a fixed world and wanting a dancing, singing, living world.  What actually is the greatest sin is Islam, is it smiling?

    It was - until recently - something used to describe him in the press, ever since this article. Much to his Salafi brothers' delight, mostly. Or possibly not.

    I fail to see the logic there. If I was a teenage Cambridgeshire schoolboy it'd be more likely to make me convert to nudism and move to France. dance

    Yeah could be, but then again I don't see why any gay dude would be freaked out by a pic like that anyway. Most of them wouldn't, AFAIK. They might not be turned on by it, but it wouldn't freak them out enough to make them get religion.

    A gay dude in denial with insane cognitive dissonance going on might overcompensate. And there are gay people out there who are incredibly uncomfortable about straight sex or sexualised nudity of the opposite sex.
