Day 1: Hi Guys I've decided to make a trip through Bollywood so post your favorite movies and why. I'll find them and watch them.

    Go!

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

MISSION KASHMIR!  MISSION KASHMIR!!!  MISSION KASHMIR!!!!!!

I swear to GAWD you will not be disappointed. It has a character in it who is a terrorist by day and a Bhangra dancer by night!  Kid you not.  Best flipping Bollywood movie out there, simply as corny as they get.

And the plot of the movie ties in so well to the whole Muslim thing.  Please watch it!  I will look forward to your review!

For a typical, romantic drama that is iconic of bollywood I would recommend watching either -
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (rough translation: feelings happen)
Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (sometimes happiness, sometimes sadness)
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (The bride will leave with her lover)

    Comedy -
    Munna Bhai MBBS

And i'm going to throw this out there because I'm biased, it's not a bollywood movie, it's actually made in Pakistan instead but it's probably the best movie I've seen to come out of that region of that world, I actually liked it so much that I wrote my own subtitles for it, it's called Bol (speech).

At evening, casual flocks of pigeons make
    Ambiguous undulations as they sink,
Downward to darkness, on extended wings. - Stevens

    Watching Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Does Shah Rukh Khan live in a wind tunnel? The guy seems to find a breeze blowing through his hair at any time, and if there is a puddle of water he's got to be in it.  Loving the movie so far. An observation though I thought Bollywood wasn't so touchy feely but in the songs they were mimicking some pretty lustful necking which was surprising that it was their "first date"

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?
