    @happy murthad:)
Brother you have knowdelge about islam but like others you have misconceptions you heared stories and belived on it what you have just said about prophets thats a complete bulshit stories written by different muslim stupid groups like qadyaniz etc...as concern hazrat Aisha she was 11 when she got married she wasnt a baby girl and just think how many girls do you know who look like 18 year old but when you ask their age is will be 12 or 13 years , but she is like a complete adult girl she is ready to have a boyfriend or husband....so Hazrat Aisha wasnt forced to get marry she willed herself and she always lived happy with him she said that my hasband is the best of the world...so my dear if she was happy and never complained then whats your problem why itz an issue for you guys....as concern to other things you said they are all stories made by people like you and nothing else....while you said about Quran that is actually you just know the translation you dont know the explination of you should know about the full context...beating a wife doesnt mean you start beating her with stick or slap her noo it means you can only beat her with thoot brush but there should be a reason if she is cheating on you....well you siad about devil yes he asked Allah and he is given permission Allah could put us on a straight path but there is a test and he knows about everything but we dont know how you behave are you able to pass test? on the day of judejment when you pass you will be screaming heyyy im passed and this world is nothing it doesnt have any value to Allah and the hardships on here are nothing to the rewards of hearafter which is a life forever...Allah can give you everything on here as well but this life is very short this life doesnt have any value...on the day of judgement Allah will show paradise and rewards to a person who had the most troubles in this world he never had happines allways touchered and then after seeing his rewards Allah will ask him tell me now you ever had any trouble in your life and he will say oh Allah after seeing this what you showed me i feel like i never ever had a minor trouble or toucher in my life....so brother dont give your examples after touchering your daughter you cant give her anything better....and this sister was touchered by her husband not by Allah and that basted will be difinitly punished but what if Allah asked this sister that i gave you eyes to see, heart to live and ears to listen and two sons then why you could not bear a few months toucher and trouble in my love hope you all understand what im trying to say:)

I was quite deluded, I tried to contextualise everything- even contexts within contexts.

Quite possibly, these are the apologists that I would like to have seen in action:

    -HM (apologist version)
    - CF (apologist version
    - Lua (apologist version)

well that is because people only knew HUMAN SIDE OF ISLAM/religion.. inhuman side of Islam is hidden .,  once we remove that inhuman side and supernatural/superstitious side of Islam there is nothing in it and it will be a good or as bad as other so-called religions..

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything

The last two years as a Muslim I was anything but a Muslim apologist. Muslims in general were not very happy about me talking about problems like sexism, honour culture, misogyny, minorities (lack of) rights etc in Muslim societies and Islam. "Don't be too much of a feminist, dear sister" was a precious advice a iERA representative gave me, and then sent me a "debate" a stupid Muslim woman had with some feminist. I laughed so hard and cried at the same time because the woman was so stupid and delusional.

Guys, sorry for being slightly off topic...
My next YouTube series will be with regards to blasphemy in the Muslim world.

What kinds of video would you guys like to watch?

    - Text/picture heavy (or something simple like a silent video running in the background)?
    - Duration wise: Long, medium or short videos?

    Any advice be beneficial, thanks.

I think we're veering just a bit off topic here. (I share a good part of the blame Grin ) Qtian, if you want to continue the youtube discussion in your youtube thread it’ll help keep the topics organized.

Ha ha i agree..  they would have scared the sht out of me though lol, i always avoided salafi at the mosque like the plague, any encounter we'd wind up arguing, i had a "hippy" kind of laid back approach to islam at the time..  but i have also been a terrible apologist on the net too for years ive preached islam all over and im very embarrassed of it now.. Infact ive blanked islam so much from my mind that i cant even remember simple prayers  :/

Thankfully, I was never really an apologist, mostly because I was never really a good Muslim to begin with (I left at a young age).

But I would imagine it would be hard; change is not that easy, especially when you're part of a religion like Islam, which is a rather complete guideline for many aspects of life. Leaving Islam means you have to follow your own path by your own standards and morals, and sometimes that can be hard.

In retrospect, it would be quite funny. However, if I was experiencing "apologist lua" in real-time then I would probably agree with what you were saying Tongue

This story is truly amazing. I find it wonderfull how people choose paths that lead them into the scariest situations but they struggle their way out and come out stronger than they ever were.
