Shameless self promotion: a friend and I are sleeping outdoors for a month, in the hope that people will find this a sufficiently stupid idea to sponsor us - all money goes to Save the Children's Emergency Syria Appeal. With no end in sight to the worsening situation in Syria, the number of refugees outside the country at almost 2 million and millions more internally displaced, help is urgently needed. Save the Children are doing crucial work, providing food, shelter, protection, education and counselling to children caught up in the violence and instability - but as always are in desperate need of funds to keep going. Money and sharing of the link both very much appreciated. X

Over half way now! Been sleeping outside for two and a half weeks, have got a bit of a bad back and pretty sleep deprived but the weather's been beautiful, up until a couple of days ago when the heavens opened. Please take a look at the page and if you can spare a few quid it's all much appreciated . We've raised almost £1500 now, but not quite there yet...(hint, hint).
