Because all the famous ones are male. The attitudes to women in the abrahamic faiths suffer their female followers because of this. Though I may actually do a female prophet and make it a competing religion if the Book of Dave thing turns out to be popular. If it did take off, I was planning on doing an interview with Dave. Basically, everything you've ever wanted to ask a prophet and taking his replies from the abrahamic figures. If Dave is popular and I do a competing female prophet I'll probably draw both from the torah/bible/quran along with the religions that have female spiritual heads such as the minority faiths that praise The Goddess, the Great Mother, Gaia, and religions which have male and female gods where the female gods are in positions of power, such as Diana, Artemis and The Morrígan.
`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
