He makes my point for me. And I loved the un-baptism bit.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Isn't one story mentioning Mo being "bewitched" by some old woman, who performed "voodoo" on him, by using hair from his comb?  Cheesy Cry yes

Yes. According to the quran Harry Potter might actually be an autobiography.

Voldemort might want to kill and enslave anyone who isn't exactly like him, but Hermione doesn't wear a veil and is friends with boys. Obviously Hermione is the bigger evil than the Dark Lord.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'

The Dark Lord does not get colds. Silence your blasphemous tongue.

I should think so. "DEATH TO POTTER AND DUMBLDORE FOR MOCKING OUR BELOVED PROPHET!" the Death Eaters cry.

It's how it starts. You've heard of Scientology right? Oh yeah, there were no new religions after islam. Quran says so. I can think of a few. Again, quran is wrong.

There's actually a new holy book being written right now if you're interested.

You just write a book full of rules for everyday life and make people into better/worse persons.

God's Chosen. Follower's of the Divine Path. I'm sure we'll have some agreement other than Daveists or Daveians.

You do realise it's a comedy right? The point is to highlight the absurdity of such claims. Like it's impossible to go against god's will and those who do will burn forever, which is a contradiction because you just said you can't go against god's will. Also, a human cannot change god's opinion, but do this and you'll make god like you. Thus changing god's opinion of you.

I'm using comedy to make a point. It's not to be taken seriously as divine, only to be taken in the way I mean it.

And the way I mean it is you have to be a fucking moron to believe it. Likewise with my conversation with George which I think I linked you. At the end I made the point, after saying it's obviously a lie, that Fred from down the pub is reading the Book of Dave to his children every night.

Another example which fits the point I was making about Fred would be the one I gave you earlier about telling children goblins live under the earth and how if you reinforce it every day of their lives not only will they not question it they'll pass it on to their children.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

I have to ask why didn't you choose a female prophet considering all the "famous" prophets are males ?
  • Hi ! Im not an atheist ... yet

Because all the famous ones are male. The attitudes to women in the abrahamic faiths suffer their female followers because of this. Though I may actually do a female prophet and make it a competing religion if the Book of Dave thing turns out to be popular. If it did take off, I was planning on doing an interview with Dave. Basically, everything you've ever wanted to ask a prophet and taking his replies from the abrahamic figures. If Dave is popular and I do a competing female prophet I'll probably draw both from the torah/bible/quran along with the religions that have female spiritual heads such as the minority faiths that praise The Goddess, the Great Mother, Gaia, and religions which have male and female gods where the female gods are in positions of power, such as Diana, Artemis and The Morrígan.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

Sounds interesting.I wish we could interview Moses or Jesus or even Mohamed too,it would be cool even though they all don't sound like someone I'd like to hang out with.

Like I said, if it proves popular you'll get your chance in the form of Dave  Smiley

You might also want to consider the Arabian prophetess Sajah and the Berber prophetess called Kahina.

I wonder how different the Middle East and North Africa would be if either of their two movements had succeeded.
