Thing is, with what we know about the universe, there are things that absolutely defy intuition. The scientific understanding of time is one example. If time came into existence at some point, then what could have possibly existed before time? No wait, that question itself is a paradox.
One could say that God is time. God is existence itself. Not that this makes any sense, but at least it puts the concept of God in parallel with other intuition-defying concepts that aren't non-existent.
Also, it would mean that I am a piece of God trapped in a human body. When this body dies and I return to my complete form, I'll contact you in your dreams to let you know if I'm right. But right now I'm getting a headache.
Hey. Inventing gods is fun. We should have a thread dedicated, and see who can come up with the coolest god.
