    Ok, but why does it sound crazy? TBH, I think the idea that we don't have a common ancestor with other species sounds crazy.

    Everyone knows they have ancestors. What I wanted to know was your definition of "early humans". IOW, are you including only H. sapiens sapiens or are you more flexible than that?

    I don't remember saying anything about proselytizing. I only criticize Islam. I don't remember saying anything about criticizing other faiths besides Islam.

    The point of the Bible is to tell the story of the Jews and God's promise of Salvation. It tells about man's relationship with God. The creation story is full of symbols to glorify God the creator and an attempt to explain how humans fell away from God.
