     OP - September 18, 2013, 02:47 PM

Can someone/we/I start a thread without having to hide our posts in little boxes. Its not our fault other fans don't watch it, soon as. There is a spoiler alert written in thread title. Ok?

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

ok there might not be a lot of posters contributing, will still be more than who are going to visit Quod in his EMEX (good acronym) meet thread anytime soon (sorry Quod could not resist). And people who will never watch it will get to, if they so wish, to read our collective orgasms as it near it's climax. All I hope it is a good and imo nothing says that that won't be the case.

That last telephone call was a brilliant bit of writing. Walt knew the police would be there and listening in so he said what they needed to hear to give Skyler a chance to get away free. There is still some human left in Walt after all. I was starting to think Walt Jr. was his only tie to link him to humanity.

Oz. It does make me laugh, I am one of those sad cases that has Big Brother from when it was an interesting social experiment and fifteen million people watched it to now when it is watched by a couple of million, tops.

Great moments in Big Brother throughout the years. Human behaviour and all that shizz.

Ishina - Do you think it was the best episode on TV, I am tending to agree with Naerys but want your opinion. I remember the V series in the eighties, about lizards in human skin (shit is that where david Icke got it from!? he was normal at the time. The who shot JR episode was a national event. Game of Thrones - Red Wedding, sure a few episodes from Lost qualify other than that my mind is a blank. Other than that huge swathes of good drama has passed me by. There is always next Ramadan. I do like The Good Wife lol.

Ozymendius was a kick in the gut, a couple of kicks actually. From Hank's, I guess I would call it noble, death, to Walt telling Jessie about his gf, to family fight, oh that fight was nuts, to STEALING A BABY, geez

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

The best episode on TV of all time? No. It wasn't even the best Breaking Bad episode. There were some incredible set pieces earlier on. What about the train robbery? Or earlier episodes with Gus, or Mike? Or the episodes where Jessie had more to do and where Aaron Paul was showing off all that Emmy Award winning acting? I think these last few episodes, being the endgame, are giving us some orgasmic emotional payoff. But the journey here has been a rollercoaster and fuckton of fun. But y'know, the scene that always stands out to me was that first scene. The opening scene with the desert and the RV. That's when I knew I was watching art. I knew it was gonna be something really special.

Not the best, though. The best drama goes to The Sopranos. Tony Soprano is just so much more mesmerising to watch than Walter White. The Sopranos has mostly the same themes, but it was the original. And the best.

Next ramadan - The Sopranos it is.

As to not being the best episode in the series, yes the ones you mention are great, especially some episodes in season three and four, but as I watched 40/50 episodes in four days, was meant to last all Ramadan, they were all ran into each other. Once this series ends, will take my time watching each episode again.

I took notes this time. Please excuse the rhythm of the critique, because I am too lazy to write it up nicely.

Don't remember the name of The Man, but seen him enough times in other movies to know that that was a very good choice, because anyone could have played it - he was cast well.

So Saul reappears, don't think we will see him again, for the first time we see him as a civilian - helpless. No histrionics.

I said last week I root for the money - after hank's demise. it seems so does Walt.

Dead feds - has a nice ring.

Skylar back to smoking, the ticking clock whilst she checks the for the squad car outside - nice touch.

Some people don't like Skylar, I like her, think she has beautiful eyes and her voice is spot-on for all the emotions she is put through.

    Skylar v Lydia

Todd, if we didn't know before is a total psychopath, feeding jesse ice cream, even making sure Jesse received a choice of flavours then killing his girlfriend in full sight. Uncle jack with 'there is still the boy left' - FFS sake Vince Gilligan must hate Jesse, will he make Jesse's life better in the end, or would that be some other T.V drams, because his life has sucked for so long, it aint gonna change.

Who else thought, Jesse was going to use the Ice Cream bucket to reach the top, instead he uses the shit bucket, doesn't kick it though, no that his girlfriend - Why would the tarpaulin not being there aid him in anyway? Just a piece of fabric.

Why does the psychopath have empathy for Skylar, or is that the bargaining chip for entry into Lydia's knickers (no, she wouldn't). There are only 50mins but the Todd/Lydia has to resolve.

Everyone has a price. There is a price for everything. the value is what people are prepared to pay for it. 10,000 dollars for one hour's company.

Vince Guilligan has put Walt through a lot, all-night cooks/all-night drives/digging holes in deserts/rolling barrels for miles and today a 8 mile walk to the nearest bar. Character building lol.

The phone call from Walt to Flynn - should have been captioned 'The Road to hell, is Paved with Good Intentions.

Walter White - the most intelligent man I know but didn't know that while he had Flynn on the first time perhaps it was a better idea to lead with the circumstances surrounding Uncle hank?

Grey matter?? talk has been of their reappearance, wonder what part they play. Made Walt change his mind about giving himself up, did he think if one legacy was fucked I am going to make sure another one isn't.

All questions will be answered next week - will Todd die? the Nazis? Surely - perhaps it is a mass shootout. Flassh forward from earlier saw WW looking a bit different returning to his home to look for the ricn, he also had guns, (iirc), I think the final major scene will be at the Nazis stronghold.

What will happen to the money? Will they find Hanks body? Does WW die? Does he have final good moments with his family.

    Marie?? Does she kill him?

Anyways if any of youse can get me that picture of Heisenberg, one in black felt on paper in the voodoo hut in mexico - well if anyone can get that in a ready to print size, I will give you a t-shirt free. maybe you might have to pay for postage and packaging. Nice, crisp, clean image though.

I look forward to watching the video. Is your name pronounced like I-shiner or I-sheena. I always read isheena, what is it?

I went to the Edinburgh Film Festival, perhaps ten/nine years ago,  stayed a few days, free - on the pay of the then local film body. There was a session where in this huge room, you had to pitch your movie, you had two minutes to talk. It cost a fiver to enter and the winner -(there were judges) would get the kitty, I think in total there something like 145 squid to play for. I came second with the shortest pitch ever - which I thought was clever but not clever enough. Cannot rememeber what won.

My pitch went - A island. 10 assassins. From different countries. 5 million in the kitty from each hitman. Winner takes the pot.

Fast forward six years I hear there is a movie called The Tournament with basically the same plot and just because it is a British movie (rather than US)I think someone there pursued it of course it had a few changes - it was set in Middlesborough? and a very good tweak was the introduction of betting taking place as the event unfolds. I never watched the movie. Felt gutted for a few day. On the other hand, who really has an original idea, I think I do sometimes, but the world is a big place.

    Ish-een-a.

On the other hand, who really has an original idea, I think I do sometimes, but the world is a big place.

Rule #5: Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. And don't bother concealing your thievery—celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It's not where you take things from—it's where you take them to."

I wish Jessie would get some kind of break. He's suffered more than anyone. Where does Aaron Paul find those performances? What unimaginable pain in the core of his being does he tap into? Absolutely compulsive and heartstopping TV, but it's almost too much to bear. I thought Walter Jr. finding out about his father was gonna be the big emotional climax of the end game, but it's all about Jessie right now.

AT this point it's pretty obvious to me that Jesse will walk away from this and find some peace. There's just no reason for them to pile up so much shit on him and not give him a happy ending.

When the white supremacists were driving him away, their car license plate read NZ something. Now, it could just mean Nazi, but I like to believe that he will get to go to New Zealand in the end, as he said he would, with Jane.

I'm guessing it's for Walt's sake, since they made it clear in the previous episode that he has lots of respect for him, or something. Plus even if it's safe for Lydia to get rid of Skyler, it would put Jack's crew at risk.

I'm thinking they just play the part of catalyst and that's that. A big deal was made last season about his feelings about leaving Grey Matter (I'm in the empire business) so the interview kinda reminded him of that and he probably want to go out in a bang.

If anyone of the nazis is alive at the end of the last episode, I'll feel cheated.

There's also her son. He wasn't shown, and if they'd killed them both then there would be no other reason. He saw them shoot the mum in the head. they gave the message, we are not fucking around.

He tries something again, they'll kill the boy.

    My take on it.

He'll never see the kid again. He's a wanted criminal, set to face a whole laundry list of charges, only escaping police custody because Hank and Gomez got murdered. He might have been able to visit Andrea and the kid on the sly, assuming he ever escaped his captors, but now she's been murdered the kid will either be in care or with other family members, none of which are gonna let him anywhere near him. I suppose he could kidnap the kid and drive off into the sunset, on the run forever. That's about as happy as it could get.

What I'm saying is that the blackmail is still there. I can't see him ever laying eyes on that kid again, that's not the threat. The threat is "You saw what we did to the mum. Try and escape again, next it's him. You know we aren't bluffing".

Good spot. I did not see it. I checked to see if it was not messed up shorthand for New Arizona. Jane is dead, that dream dies when she did.  There is Brock. It's his own fault. That is why I root for the money, the brotherhood will die and it will be there. Hope it is put to good use, not burnt, destroyed as a result of some other accident, or indeed, on purpose.

There is a long queue. Marie? Surely not the Grim Reaper? That would be too neat. maybe Saul is the hero..Nah. All I gotta say, there is a lot to resolve in 40 odd minutes. In the flash forward he looked very rough. Got to do post on what people think will happen in general/per character, got a few days yet.

It's different (or at least to my knowledge) because this has a deffo end-point as a drama, so did Sopranos, looked what happened there. (Even though I don't watch it, I know bits and bats).

two questions I have. Shit I have forgotten one of them, and it was good, damn good, it will come to me. leaves me with one. I remembered , it is question two now.

What do people think about the scene where Jesse finds out that he has been pick-pocketed by Sauls boy and ergo...really....they could have taken the poison for Brock or summat like that? Bit far-fetched, luckily they had Walt's 'confession' in the same episode, to make up fort it.

What are peoples views on the mid-air collision, I forget if it had direct consequences on the plot, I think I did - so - A bit dramatic hey.

Hank finding h/Eisenberg's real identity, whilst sitting on the loo, pure magic. I'd have him notice a pair of electronic scales in the bathroom, weigh himself, poo and then weigh himself again. You would be surprised. I am joking I wouldn't have him do that, though it would make a good skit.
