    Go for it, but I managed to find a DVD quality version of the latest Hobbit. Didn't get a chance to see it on the big screen, enjoying it now. Ahh, internet.

    I really wish I was a LOTR fan because the people who love it seem to really love it, but I couldn't get myself to get through the first movie. Harry Potter is only slghtly better in comparison.

     Wink I've never followed a movie series obsessively. Books? Yes. Single movies? Yes. But never a movie series.

    Also, I think Star Trek beats Star Wars fans out, right?

    I was never obsessive. I enjoyed the first Lord of the Rings and was curious enough to see the second. Enjoyed the second even more so went to see the third. Enjoyed all three so got the DVDs, and the game was fun. After a fun game and an enjoyable trilogy figured I'd like the Hobbit. Afro

    I actually read the book years before Peter Jackson even though about doing a film. Usually it's better to see the film then read the book rather than the other way around as they leave so much out, but meh. I got the extended versions of the films so all the cut footage was added. So many more hours of movie goodness.

    I couldn't get through the movie, so I definitely wasn't going to get through the book. Also, reading the book usually ruins the movie for me. All I end up doing is thinking, "They didn't get this right, or that, or that..." It's not fun.

    Again, simply beautiful. I sed to stay near an all girls Islamic School. Everytime my friends and I would walk past all the girls would avoid making eye contact as if you could get pregnant just by looking at someone.
    No free mixing of the sexes is permitted on these forums or via PM or the various chat groups that are operating.

    Women must write modestly and all men must lower their case.
