And by the way, nothing is obvious. Things only seem obvious to certain people because they already have the necessarily knowledge to understand those things.

You missed my point. If you have a desire for something about you to exist beyond your death, and if you think that you need kids to do that, then you're wrong, because other people can learn your ideas just as well as your hypothetical kids can.
