    This is a question asking if you use sex toys for masturbation NOT if you use sex toys when having sex with a partner.

     I want to know if there is there a significant difference in the number of women and men who use sex toys.

    I think in popular culture(tv shows, movies etc) it's common for women to use dildos but you don't see many men use sex toys such as pocket pussies when masturbating in movies or tv shows. 
    In my opinion a life without curiosity is not a life worth living

    Are carrots, cucumbers, pillows, bed poles and stuffed animals categorised as "sex toys"? One of the joys of ending up in the friend zone and getting drunk with your female friends is that they tell you - uhm -stuff.

    Yeah, I have experimented a bit with sex toys for men. Several times. Didn't bring me anywhere. The ol' leftie and a bit of imagination still worked the best.

    Not bed poles, that is part of a piece of furniture. The rest are sex toys.

    Never used any. Don't want anything sent to the house and have to explain it. Worse yet, I would probably have to explain what it is (or at least pretend that it's something else) rather than why I have it.  whistling2

    You don't have to biuy it online. You can just drop by a sex/porn store and they usually have tons of sex toys for you to choose from.

    I've also learned that there is a male equivalent of the dildo or vibrator. 

    It is known as the Pocket Pussy.    Have any men used this particular sex toy ?
