Good thread good stuff here.. so we have only two links so far.. one from movingfeet
and other one from from Ex Hijabi
we need more lot more of such links., And QSE says
I'm pretty sure you can find a hadith to justify anything, just like you can with the endless fatwas that are being churned out.
well QSE., the endless fatwas of Islam are different from Hadith time line and the statements in hadith literature. They are are limited to
"Companions of Prophet of Islam" where as fatwas you can do it and I can do it, The only rule is that you have to be a Male and Muslim., If you are not Muslim take that shahada and talk some nonsense in a Mosque congregation, after that you can start issuing those endless fatwas .
Any ways, the goal in this thread should be getting proper names of women folk in early Islam and stories about them/around them. I am sure plenty of new converts in Islam specially women folks from west can write all sorts of early Islamic heroine harry potter stories. And I think that
fatal feminist_Nahida is one of them from US of A..
Nahida writes novels she never finishes, shorter creative pieces, and bad poetry. She has interests in Islam, feminism, philosophy, astronomy, neurology, and daydreaming, and lives by the San Andreas Fault
no doubt she is smart and intelligent
but she can not see that San Andreas Fault in Islam In any case it is vital to gather more information on this very important historical issue of early Islam.
