well monstart ., People are stupid one time or other time.  All people can not be smart & rational and logical  all the time.

So it is OK to that "Virus" to call cemb folks stupid.   Some times I am a stupid I do act like stupid., but good friends around me will say "Hey common you are acting stupid"  Stop it.,   at that time I will think about it I will try to  change  myself .

for e.g.,  I don't want to have a STUPID FRIEND like Abu Bakr.,  I would like to have smart friends
    Quote
when I say(if I say) something utterly stupid like .,

Hey My friend  Abu Bakr., I saw your 6 year old daughter in my dream.. Allah suggested to me That I am going to marry  and sleep with your very smart little girl"

Then My friend Abu Bakhra should tell me.,

"YOU IDIOT,  you are 53 year old and your dreaming 9 yer old little girl?    get over the nonsense and get some psychiatric help or get some help from Allah"

I like such friends and I like such help from  friends.  So there is nothing wrong to be a stupid for some time., but but  I don't like to be a stupid throughout my life. Any way I think Virus is Rascal..  lol.. and I like people like "Virus"

but I like Mikha’eel's Benficial Links: ., So I will follow those links..

The only comments I found interesting are the ones warning people who are not scholars to stay away. Someone even said scholars shouldn't go there/come here. That says a lot to me. Defer to an authority instead of using one's own reason to discuss a topic. Never mind that this authority figure is prone to the same flaws every other human has. Just appeal to authority when in doubt.

No.......Minimow   nooooo.. they are good guys.. good folks., They just don't like to loose their faith., that is all what it is  and that is fine with fellows like me.

In fact I suggest to some of those guys to come here and  read & join this  forum  to make their faith strong . On the way they might   change  some  folks from here  back to the faith.  With their strong faith in Allah, Islam and actions of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) They should be able to do that. I became Hanafi, quite specifically, because Abu Hanifah once waved his hand and said "Don't ask me again, I will change my mind." I loved that. I want to follow that guy, the one over there, without a system.

"Just a bunch of lagons who never actually practiced and understood islam"

Epic. I mean, what a nice way to just dismiss knowledgeable ex-muslims. ......................

"knowledgeable ex-muslims"  are the dangerous people on earth and they are more dangerous to Islam. How dangerous are they to Islam depends upon how close they are to Apostasy. We know the rules of  Apostasy in Islam.

Now there is a small  difference between Apostates of Islam and Ex-Muslims. "knowledgeable ex-muslims"  come in variety of colors and characters,  many could live in close proximity of Islam or even along with salafi or wahabi Muslims under one roof, Where as the case of apostates is different.

These fools of Ummah.com (NOT ALL  MEMBERS OF THAT FORUM) live not just in Islam but in a small of corner ISLAM under some sort of unquestionable cult spell. They are like little frogs  in a small well. They don't know that there is a ocean out there that you can freely swim in it.

But that is their  life, they choose to live like that and they must have freedom to live the way the like.  As long as they don't force their political agenda on the society and as long as they have freedom to question me and I have freedom to question them, I am OK with them and with their coltish behavior  Cornflower,  And and,, what you have done here will give immense strength to those women folk who are in a terrible situation because Islam brain washed their once loved ones.

Allah has sealed their hearts these people are beyond dawah. Only Allah can guide them and that only if Allah decides to.

Besides wasting your time going on that website is foolish go read Quran or hadiths or do extra salah

I don't think they are interesting at all. They are so dull and non-distinct that I can't tell one from the other. They all say the same thing, whatever they think they are supposed to say and no more than that. Their opinion on any given topic is whatever it says in the Quran or officially endorsed Islamic literature. Fucking vacant automatons, all muttering the same programmed words and ideas in unison. How lacking in distinct personality they are seems to be proportionate to how devout they are. Their personality is Islam. And the tragic thing is, they'd probably take that as a compliment.

It's totally a cult. I swear I can hear "get help" tapped out in morse code on the pipes when I read that forum.

I strongly advise you against signing up, posting or even visiting such places. They are a danger to 1's eemaan - stay away from there and avoid it like the plague. I have seen people in such places that were believers and ended up on kufr. There is no reason for you to be there, just stay away from it - and i know from personal experience.

You should be. I've seen too many people apostate from Islam because of such websites, i knew a few of them because i used to visit those sites and got to know em quite well, those places are a huge fitnah, and if you value your eemaan then i suggest you avoid any such site like you'd avoid the a person infected with a deadily disease.

See here's the thing, no matter which proof you bring towards these kuffar, they will not believe because their mindset is set in that way of thinking, and it is Allah (swt) who tests, guides and leaves astray those who do not wish to be guided.

All these are typical arguments of people who do not have the knowledge nor context of the qur'an, who pretend they are knowledgable and appear so, who pretend they are even linguistic and understanding arabic, etc...

I've witnessed myself ARAB muslims and so called 'ex-muslims' trying to say there is no hijab of any sort in the qur'an yet it is there. We've had one such person here (a troll).

As far as the clay, earth, water arguments. Remember, the qur'an was revealed to a people who did not have an understanding of atoms, molecular science, physics, chemistry, etc... it was explained to them in a manner they would understand, however today when we read some such things it makes sense to us.

#1 For example we know today there cannot be life without water, we know the universe in it's creation was made up of water and our bodies are made up majority of water.

#2 The whole earth and clay arguments, is it that far fetched to accept? Not at all. What is our body made up of? The contents of the soil is what? Earth elements. Our body is EXACTLY that, made up of earth's elementary molecules. No really. Zinc, iron, oxygen, hydrogen, you name it. That's it.

The setting on horizon thing, I forget the elaborate explanation on that, but still, the qur'an has parts where things are explained as moving bodies in orbit if i recall linguistically specific worrds being used.. and if not that specific verse it's an expression. Do we not say sun has set? What's wrong with that either? A statement does not always have to be a literal statement. Although I would allow someone more knowledgable to explain this one as also I forgot but it's nothing what THEY these non-muslims and 'ex-muslims' claim. They just copy paste the same arguments that many christian missionaries do too. That's all they do, day and night and fool people without knoweldge.

I have learned from observing amongst muslims that alot of muslims derive their iman from BAD and false things, meaning they look for some stupid things like 'miracles' in a cloud seeing "Allah" or name of Allah in tomato.. RATHER THAN equiping themselves with KNOWLEDGE.

KNOWLEDGE of Allah, of the prophet, of Islam, of the sahaba etc.. should INCREASE our iman. Lack of knowledge results in people manipulating you because they play on you lack of knowledge, that is exactly what these people do. to the extent that they might even convince you because they sound like they know what they are talking about, when in fact you just lack the knowledge.

Many muslim sects and groups even they 'increase' their follower's iman with false stories or fabricated weak hadith (tabliqhi jamat) yet when they find out these are not true, their iman will decrease.

The other problem is some muslims try to find 'scientific miracles' in the quran in everything.. so theyll make up stuff. Like take a verse that is elusive and apply something allegedly 'scientific' this is so wrong. This is another problem. Yet what was the qur'an revealed for? FOR GUIDANCE, it's not a book of science, it is a book of SIGNS as Dr. Zakir Naik often says in his speeches.

Iman is increased with knowledge of truth and seeking knowledge is mandatory upon every muslim.

I have had a long extended argument with a progressive over the verses involving how non-Muslims or apostates have seals over their hearts.
This makes us less human. It makes us cursed. We are marginalized.
Some verses insist that this is pre-ordained for us by Allah. You know, predestination. That absolves us from responsibility for our disbelief. It's all packaged up very neatly.
We are not threatening, because we are cursed with veils or seals over our intelligence. We are not threatening, because God made us this way.
Sounds like someone is feeling threatened, in the original text.
