An easy reminder of how biased people can be when they feel their world (which to them is Islam) is under attack,, eating up anything that confirms their predisposition regardless if there is any evidence or not and discarding the rest as lies and conspiracy.

I remember being on these forums, on the other side.
I would feel this horrible sadness when I met a doubter, an overwhelming compassion. I thought it was because they could not see the beauty of my delusion, and I was very, very deluded. Maybe it was for myself, the emotion misdirected to these others by cognitive dissonance.

I have heard of that being told to me briefly too, but not that to that extent. Of us not being human.

When I listen to devout believers of all faiths arrogantly and passionately preach how their particular deity, dogma or doomsday prophet is superior to all else and those on the 'other side' are just arrogant or idiots and wonder to what extent they really believe in what they are saying. I have never had a religion or spent any significant amount of time with very religious people to get an answer to this.

Are they just simply as lost in delusion as they seem to be or do they go to bed at night wondering to themselves if they have devoted their life to nonsense.

She did not state that. But when you marginalize a population, when you insist their thoughts are not their own, this is what it comes down to. That is how we are made out to be. The progressives will explain it away, saying in the Quran it says kill apostates because they were enemies of the state, fomenting unrest or opposing the spread of Islam, and this does not apply today, etc etc.
But of course you are still going to suffer eternity in hell.
These are the same progressives who insist Hadith is a long game of telephone that you should pay no attention to. Until they want to explain away Quran, until they want to insist certain passages are for a certain ancient situation that will never come again.
I always tell them an omnipotent god can make this clear, right? A god could clarify these verses, make them less open to violent interpretation. It is a test, they say. A test. If some people get killed from this test, did the perpetrator pass the test, or not? How many died from this test, in fourteen hundred years? How many died, in Evin prison, alone? What sort of god is that?

The idea of rejecting Islam in full consciousness is something Muslims can't think of. We are ex-muslims, because Allah  has sealed our hearts. How could we ever make a decision by ourselves?
They are so deluded and they always need the reminder "Islam is the true religion"
Everything that is evil, was created by Allah to test their faith.
We are part of their tests. They avoid us.
Everything that is off the right path, represents an obstacle for the muslims, because Life is a test and we were created for the Muslims to test their faithfulness.

    Sick of this...

See here's the thing, no matter which proof you bring towards these kuffar, they will not believe because their mindset is set in that way of thinking, and it is Allah (swt) who tests, guides and leaves astray those who do not wish to be guided.

All these are typical arguments of people who do not have the knowledge nor context of the qur'an, who pretend they are knowledgable and appear so, who pretend they are even linguistic and understanding arabic, etc...

I've witnessed myself ARAB muslims and so called 'ex-muslims' trying to say there is no hijab of any sort in the qur'an yet it is there. We've had one such person here (a troll).
That post made me cringe. The mind-set of some people.

As far as the clay, earth, water arguments. Remember, the qur'an was revealed to a people who did not have an understanding of atoms, molecular science, physics, chemistry, etc... it was explained to them in a manner they would understand, however today when we read some such things it makes sense to us.

#1 For example we know today there cannot be life without water, we know the universe in it's creation was made up of water and our bodies are made up majority of water.

    Quote
#2 The whole earth and clay arguments, is it that far fetched to accept? Not at all. What is our body made up of? The contents of the soil is what? Earth elements. Our body is EXACTLY that, made up of earth's elementary molecules. No really. Zinc, iron, oxygen, hydrogen, you name it. That's it

    .

alot of muslims derive their iman from BAD and false things, meaning they look for some stupid things like 'miracles'........

    KNOWLEDGE of Allah.........................

weak hadith (tabliqhi jamat) yet when they find out these are not true, their iman will decrease.............

it is a book of SIGNS as Dr. Zakir Naik often says in his speeches......................

Iman is increased with knowledge of truth and seeking knowledge is mandatory upon every muslim.

"so called ex-muslims" so called.. hmm

That post made me cringe. The mind-set of some people.

well  Ahmed2013   is a smart momin ., In fact many of threads here discuss Zakir Naik, Adnan Oktar, Quran Hadith.,, CEMB board is tailored to improve both  the knowledge and iman .  You know whatever you guys think about that Ummah.com   i  like those guys,,

I was lost in delusion. I was completely and utterly consumed by belief, as if by flame. It was my only focus, my obsession, my first and last thought upon sleeping or waking. I jumped to my prayers, I did not miss one. Not one. I read nothing, listened to nothing, but religion, for years. A self-brainwash. I knew it was not nonsense. It was the only truth, and I capitalized the T on that word, as if it were another name for Allah.
I prayed in rain, snow, offices, stores, fields, cars. I loved to hear the Adhan. I was sorry for anyone not Muslim. Profoundly sorry.
It was a delusion. Sometimes delusion is easier. You have all the answers, you have a guarantee, why look further? It is the easiest way out. The lazy way out.
But if you learn enough about Islam, and, as a convert, you find your way past the English apologist literature, you see what is really going on in the original texts and you sober the hell up. You push past the lies, when you get a grip on your Arabic terminology and start reading old and varied translations, in my opinion.

Yes, that is right. We are obstacles in the path. Something you do not want to get onto your shoe. A test. We are not to be trusted, we are sealed up, deaf and blind, and should be regarded as dumb, do not listen to us.
It is a great way to tie us up. So marginalized.

Religion is so disgusting and it is unique because it transcends race, politics, and national borders.

Weird how people dont get that a God who created this whole Universe, had his knowledge limited to one tiny part of planet earth.
I mean do they ever wonder?
I feel the urge of hitting someone hard in the face

Oh InC. I am so sorry for your tolerance. You need some art, some Empire of the Sun, some sort of release.
God lives in a box. Each religion has their own box.
Luckily for Islam, they have Ka'aba, and luckily for Judaism, they have the Ark. Christians put their god in an unorthodox box, a human body that disappeared, like the Ark has disappeared. They would all believe in an omnipotent god, and then box that god up.
Make something so powerful, so great, so huge, you cannot control it, and then box it up, please.
    It's funny, that way.

Don’t waste your time on them.

I have been there before and read a lot of their posts and they are nothing more than few pathetic people with emotional issues. They seem to be more angry at God for having problems in their lives than deny his existence.

Also they all can’t for some reason grasp the existence of hell – I guess they want to do whatever they want to and still go to Jannah and when they find out that is not possible they get angry and say we don’t believe in Allah (shows you how stupid people can be)

Another thing they love to do is spend most of their time talking about Islam and Muslims, they can’t seem to move on – I wonder why (lolls)

I am sure most of them also hang around here pretending to be Muslims and asking stupid questions to either try and cause doubts or to dishearten the Muslims.

Plus quite few admit they are not never been Muslims so you can only imagine how many are pretending to be ex-Muslims just to boost their numbers.

What I would be more worried about is the fact that it took people who hearts are sealed to make you doubt everything you believed.

You can salvage this. There is no 666 tradition in Islam. That is a Christian superstition. Muslims don't have any superstitions, right? Let me make sure my daughter is wearing blue.. she is.
So. There are no superstitions in Islam, you are just thumbing your nose at those silly Christians.

It is worth bearing in mind that the vast majority of those on the forum are very young, a lot of them are still minors. Just look at the thread "where were you on 9/11" and you get an idea of how young they all are, hopefully their arrogance in youth will mellow out as they age.
