    How can I break it to you?

    Atheism is not a religion. But since you wish to claim it is: Would you please define what a religion is and distinguish it from 'denomination/sect/cult/New Religious Movement and New Age Movement?'

    So far...atheism is not classed as a religion as the specification for schools/colleges does not address so if you have anything to add please contact the Educaiton Secretary to update the syllabus. And as I am an atheist, I would like to know what religion to put down on the next census 2016.

    Why is civil religion a 'false dichotomy?' Please explain....

    Hey, Yoda, how can I break it to you?  I explicitly said atheism is not a religion, but some atheists treat it as such, hence why they're forming mega churches.  You need to read my post again.

    Did you even read that whole post?  I said: "Well yes and no.  "Atheism" is simply a stance, nothing more, nothing less, but a lot of atheists try to fill the void with religion, and not just traditional.   "New Atheists" try to make it into a religion, they're even making atheist mega churches (lol), and of course there's Transhumanism, and a lot of different examples.  As an atheist, I'm typically embarrassed by other atheists."

    You're not even responding to me, but simply a strawman demon that has apparently offended your atheist sensibilities.

    Yoda, are you having trouble with English?  I'm not even trying to make fun of you, but is it your second language?  I said "Well yes and no.  "Atheism" is simply a stance, nothing more, nothing less, but a lot of atheists try to fill the void with religion, and not just traditional. "  In other words, Atheism is not a religion, but atheists do try to treat it as such oftentimes.  I'm not sure why this is hard to understand?  You weren't even aware of atheist mega churches, which leads me to think you don't have much experience with other atheists.

    Secondly, even if English wasn't my first language your response was still contradictory. To say 'yes and no' means that you think that atheism could be a religion. Your discussion about what some atheists try to do was jsut another position you put forward.

    If I started of my answer with 'yes and no' I wouldn't blame the other person for assuming that I partially thought that atheism was a religion. You claim:

    It seems more like a political movement which happens to hold certain view on religion, government and politics. At least from what the little I have read at some of their members blogs.

    It's not contradictory.  You're acting like some autistic person, thinking in such a binary fashion that you can't even understand a statement.  "Yes and no" is a common phrase that denotes that the answer is not black or white, and I'm at a loss that you couldn't understand that?

    Also, how is the English language racist?  Lmao, you just pulled that out of nowhere....

    If you were in a job or a school and you turned to the person next to you and you said what you said to a person of colour what do you think the reaction would be?

    If I said that to a "person of color" (because there are no "colored people" who speak English as a first language, a racist and offensive term btw, not sure why you're using this after chastising me for alleged racism), they'd say yes or no.  I can ask what you call the "colored" people in my family and neighborhood if you want?

    I consider it very odd you can't understand a simple phrase is all, and I've went to school with autistic people and observed very similar confusions on their part.

    I am mildly dyslexic though. There's an open field for you.

Apparently your inability to accept you contradicted yourself means that others have learning difficulties and is an excuse for you to 'get out of jail free'.
