    some of his words are timeless teachings i think so, that is if they came from him and that he even existed..   im quite interested in akenaten, i often wonder why he wasnt revered as a prophet

    Well, what's a prophet? Some wanker comes along sprouting bollocks claiming it's from god, people believe said bollocks, and voila! You have a prophet.

    I’m gonna play devil’s advocate here and give Mo a point. For better or for worse, the guy managed to convince a huge section of humanity of a story he made up in his own mind. Call him what you will, but that is an accomplishment, I guess.

    I’ll take that point away from Dhul Kifl because what the f*ck did he do anyway?

    Shu'aib was an asshole, if you go after the OT story. The quranic Shu'aib is somewhat unknown to me. so Shu'aib -1

    Who was Shuaib in the OT? I thought he was one of the Arab prophets Mo made up like Salih and Hud.

    Ya'qub, father of Yusuf, is also an ass-hole especially if you go after the more detailed version in OT. He basically enabled Yusuf's brothers to hate him because he preferred him over them so obviously. So Ya'qub -1. I'll give Harun +1 because he had to deal with Moses, who didn't appreciate him enough and just criticized him.

    I guess I never put 2 and 2 together that both were in Madyan. Shu’aib's story in the Qur’an is way different than Jethro in the OT and Mo never explicitly linked the two, I don't think.

    Ayub was really horrible in the quranic description. In OT, he's portayed like a miskeen and fool. But in Islam, he is so "holier-than-thou" and even vows to whip his wife 1000 lashes. Just because she questions why god is such a dick Roll Eyes I'll give 1+ to Yahya cuz he seems pretty harmless.
