    My wife does the 'right claw' thing as well but she will use the left to drink a glass of water,  I've seen her occasionally use the left to eat with and even turn a blind eye to the odd gelatinous jelly, I see no reason to point this out to her.

    Lol well some muslims say it is ok to hold the glass with left hand so long as it's held with both hands simultaneously, not sure where the logic is there  wacko

    Perhaps but it is interesting that that branch seems to be the biggest in Christianity despite all the sects involved. From Europe, to the Americas and Africa that branch and its twigs seem to have the lions share of Christian followers.

    That's because Islam destroyed the Eastern portion of Christianity in the Middle East  parrot

    The only major Eastern Christian areas left are Greek orthodox and Russian orthodox.

    Oriental Orthodoxy aka Armenian Church is neither Greek nor Russia, it is also far older than either. It has also a unique history in the Muslim Empires, the wars with with Christians and it's isolation from core lands of both sides.

    Another advantage (from the perspective of a cult leader) of having rules that govern every little thing,in addition to forging a sort of mass identity, is that thinking of all these little things all the time keeps the followers too busy to actually think about important or significant things. It helps prevent them from truly using their brains because they are always occupied with some mindless task or thought or prayer.
