The refereeing in this tournament is so nakedly in favour of Brazil it, disgusts me. I take back what I said about the Germans. I'll support anyone against this Brazilian lot, even the Germans.

This Brazil team could murder an opposition player and not get a yellow card.

Yeah, the whining about Brazil getting calls in their favour is unfounded. The game was poorly officiated on both sides. My dream of Brazil v Argentina moves one step closer! But without Silva, I think they'll get pummelled by the Germans.

Silva could easily have deservedly gotten a second yellow card.

Julio Cesar should have got sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity for the penalty.

They kicked Rodriguez all day long. 31 fouls by Brazil during the game. Only 2 yellow cards.

Fernandinho is somehow allowed to foul without impunity

This is such a shit Brazil side. I hope they get destroyed by Ze Germans.

    This is nonsense.

    This is nonsense.

Both sides played dirty, and you can't go denying that just because Colombia lost.

Brazil targeted Rodriguez and played dirty. referee was a homer. Colombia got their snide in too.

Pretty much. This Brazilian team is eminently beatable and that's saying something. The days of a 2002-esque Brazil side are long behind us. I fail to see why peoples opinions (who I generally respect re: int. football) are so off the mark for Brazil in this tournament. They have gotten this far by sheer luck and refereeing in their favour, nothing else.

If anyone can do it, Germany can. Reports that Neymar may not make the semi final.

Even with him I could see Germany doing a job on him.

    Germany v Argentina final?

Brazil have gotten this far utilizing a fair bit of home advantage. Hope they don't get to the final playing like this. Honestly not really impressed with any of the teams left, as I think the two more exciting teams just got knocked out today.  Cry

Not luck, they beat Italy, Uruguay and took Holland to the wire through being an excellently coached, unified team.

This knock out phase needed a David knocking out Goliath.

Yah I was surprised about his injury honestly. He leaves his feet all the time, takes bad hits as a result yet one badly place hit and he is out.

`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Same here. I just really hope Hollands next two matches will be beautifully played, just like Algeria did. Not counting on it, though.
