    What do you think humanity will be like in the year 2024, 2124? Any predictions on where we might be scientifically, technologically, etc. ?

    I don't know but i want to live in the future..  :(  It will probably be the norm to be an androgenus bi sexual (in the far future), we will be communicating and performing tasks via some device attached to our brain that makes us appear telepathic, Islam will still be in the year zero with dinosaurs going strong :/  there's so much to think about..

    There will be a complete cure for stretch marks Grin! Sorry but these marks are the bane of my life. But I am serious here.

    I believe Functional MRI and Electroencephalography have been used to record brain wave patterns (while dreaming) and used to correlate them with certain images. Research is in very early stages. Still, although I consider myself an optimist, I'm a bit sceptical.

    Even my skinny little husband has those! He just never knew what they were until I mentioned them. Grin I think they and all other scars give the body more character.

    Gaming will finally involve plugging ourselves in, and taking the form of an avatar, and really enjoying the game.  Feeling everything as if you are there.

    Also CEMB might not be needed anymore, but if it is, we can plug ourselves in and meet up in a similar style to that of Caprica.

    Well, one can only hope anyway.

    I think there has been a trend for the past decade is the increased connectivity of people across the world, due to increase usage in the internet, and the further development of the communication infrastructure in various countries. For the next decade, I don't see this trend slowing down. Also I see this decade as the start of virtual assistance software (Siri, Cortana, etc.) that will likely grow in usage with improvements.

    Humanity 100 years from now?
    Minor changes in general, big changes within technology.
    The content we get from our smartphones, iPads, computers will be seen on pure glass everywhere.

    Humanity FAR into the future is the more interesting question;
    Health:
    • Genetic diseases and other illnesses will be completely gone in certain areas of the world.
    • Illnesses/diseases will be treated more effectively due to better antibiotics, more vaccines etc. Illnesses in general will be minimal due to better eating habits, vitamin intake, excersise and more awareness/knowledge about health
    • Glasses will not be worn in certain areas of the world. Instead, people are able to get their vision permanently corrected by something similar to laser operation, only cheaper, more effective and less time consuming (We're talking about a 30 second deal here).

    Physical appearance
    • Some humans will look more childlike, more so in Korea than any other place. People will have larger eyes, smaller mouths (as wisdom teeth will disappear), smaller noses.
    • Inspired by The Time Machine by H.G.Wells, humans will split into two sub-species. One species will look more fragile, taller and childlike than the other species. This delicate species is hooked on vaccines against everyyyy-thing while the other species is more robust, sturdy and has adapted to the harsh environment. They also have a stronger, more natural immune system and are shorter and stockier.

      Technology:
      • Physical money will be obsolete. People will pay through chips only. This will also reduce the bacteria exchange between people and the world (or certain parts of it) will be more sterile and clean.
      • Social media will now be virtual media. The internet and computer screens will be obsolete, instead humans will be browsing, interacting and finding information through something similar to Google Glass.
      • Driving cars is completely banned due to pollution - instead people will be travelling by advanced subways, even between countries.

      I have some of other theories too but I have to study for my exams. :(
