    So I watched this video and thought it would make an interesting discussion:

    As a muslim I was exposed to a lot of conspiracies of how the west is brainwashing us and so on and so forth, very much the same as this video.
    He makes some interesting points, I find it amusing how he finds things like sex, and god arm wrestling as disgusting. It really goes to show how different world views can cause such hate and animosity.

    If you look at his words, evil, degenerates, satanic, mostly derogative because he is being exposed to a world view that is different from his own and that scares him.

    Do we as atheists/agnostics also portray the religious world with the same vile hate and disgust? Like personally I understand my own personal hate for religion itself, but i hold no ill feeling towards the religious and understand them as well, what bugs me is their CLEAR misunderstanding of me which is blatant in this video.

    Overall while this video is entertaining it is also ultimately sad.

    What do you guys think?

    Its amazing that people are offended so much about people that are making a cartoon and depicting God in a way that does not fit into their imaginary view.
    I hope that one day the media as a whole find the courage collectively to question islam, just as they expose christianity, and expose it for what it is too many more people, before it is too late.
    There are too many people in the west who just do not understand the islamist agenda.

    In the west at least. There's a few African countries where it might not be a good idea.

    It would be difficult in the beginning, but media is a very powerfull tool if they try to do it subliminally just as they have done it in music videos that might be a way to start things off, as this will not openly say it, but just start to get things going in the right direction.
    I just really worry about the next few years.

    To be fair criticism of islam happens on a daily basis. There's often accusations of racism and bigotry, but it is happening.

    Erm subliminal messages??? I don't like that idea, it's kind of like brain washing, rather get people to think for themselves and question things. Do you know what a big deal muslims will make about subliminal messages against their religion

    well im no expert on mind control. however i just looked at it from the point of view of how i have watched music videos from Katy Perry , Beyonce etc, they put the anti christian message across without saying it openly. I think hidden in plain site is the term that is used. I mean look how popular these artists still are in christian countries. But it does get people talking about their messages however on the internet.
    Just wish the media would talk about it, So much crap in Islam
