Why do we go to university?

For me, it was because I could and because I love learning shit and I'm good at it.
As for the subject: I didn't get into Med School, which at that point was what I loved, and then chose something that had some overlapping subjects.
Money has been important and is still important. If I want to do what I love, I can be sure that I won't be making a lot of money. I will be able to live comfortably, though.
Experience has taught me that I can't be happy in a good-paying job if I hate the actual work. I'm too...sensitive for that. I really do need to love what I do.
The future is full of thrilling possibilities.
