Wow! You are a really good writer, your emotions were sprawled out across the page.

    Wow... Just,... Wow!

Very well written. It got me emotional, just reading it knowing that this is a description for the "perfect Muslim wife". One who sacrifices everything and gets fuck all in return.

Did none of the ideas of feminism reach some areas of this planet?  I am reminded of Eric Berne Sex in Human Loving, read the beginning of it on a certain very well known book seller.  This has a fascinating footnote about some work of Sir Richard Burton.

When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.

You make me this way. You do this to me. You kill my spirit. You try to mould me and you weaken me, you break me down. That’s what you want isn’t it? You want me to break! You want to break the spirit in me that you despise. You want me to be just another mindless sheep. Yes, you continue to break me, to dampen my spirit, to knock me off my feet. But this anger that I have, behind these eyes, this fire inside of my soul, it keeps me burning, it keeps me alive.

fun blog post - I wonder if the anger has burnt itself out by now?

I try to aspire to quiet confidence and pragmatic aggression but fear/anger still lurks somehow.
