I watched it. I found it very interesting; in The Netherlands there was a similar program on, it is called Typically Dutch (translated) and the format was kind of like the same. What I noticed is that the Leicester version is way more 'politically incorrect' than the Dutch version. In the Dutch version the problems arose with a muslim not wanting alcohol at the table, so he withdrew himself after the others didn't want to concede to drinking no alcohol and the group was chased out of somewhere because this muslim started to pray in public.

There was also a gay in the program and of course he was sided with the muslim, and then he dressed up in drag and everyone was shocked. Well, I thought is was provoking but at the end of the day the muslim started the provocative behaviour, so he had it coming Wink.

I wonder how the Leicester version was commented on in England.

The Lithuanian guy asked if there was anyone Lithuanian in British history and someone replied no.  Actually, King Arthur and his round table possibly were!

If he existed it is possible he was a Roman Mercenary from Eastern Europe - the Kiera Knightley film had that hypothesis.

In fact historically the Church of England had closer links with the Orthodox Church and only went Roman at Whitby.
