My parents seem to only want to know me when they want money off me, they know i'm in debt and they spend most of there money on my elder bro (the favourite), and I don't even care what they do with there cash but why do they keep asking me for money when they know i'm struggling and they are so free with there own cash ?

Why don't they just ask there favourite kid ? Why do they only wanna know me when they want money ?

Could you diplomatically refuse, especially since you are in debt?

Perhaps by taking your money they are also taking your independence. Parents, especially parents from 'back home', love to control their children. It's a byproduct of being raised in a socially conservative religious environment.

No free mixing of the sexes is permitted on these forums or via PM or the various chat groups that are operating.

Women must write modestly and all men must lower their case.

Second Jedi my mother is obsessed with knowing how much I have in the bank. Before I used to feel the obligation to tell her. Now I know its a reason for her to keep track of how far I am getting away from her.

I am saving up to leave. I learned to say no that is personal. I had to actually make sure all of my bank statements were electronic bc she would open my mail. I told her it was a felony and that she needed to stop doing it.
