but to expect everyone to not give a damn about there chastity just because she doesn't, seemed a bit arrogant to me.
I'm a sucker so I'm tempted to drop it, but I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess.

A bit arrogant was a mild way of how I'd put your original comment where you were suggesting that your opinion is representative of most men's opinions:
I disagree with that, chastity is actually very important [...] a woman who goes around flirting with a bunch of guys will not be respected as much [...] Virginity does have value, ask a man who he would rather marry, a woman that is a virgin or a woman that has slept with 50 men. you know what the answer is most likely to be, the one that is chaste !
Something I think you're not really understanding, Thaman, is that no one is saying you can't personally want to end up with a virgin. Whatever, that's your deal. And if you want to keep your virginity, that's cool, too. It's no skin off our backs.
What
is problematic and what you did get called out for was making statements that degrade women and claiming your opinion is nearly universal. The assertion itself is a dangerous one, with ill-effects you can plainly see in countries where this belief is upheld, and, luckily, the idea you seem to have that this is a universal opinion or a law of nature is factually inaccurate.
You can align yourself with this and call it your opinion, but the people you're belittling with your opinions are bound to react in a less than appreciative way. I guess you ought to prepare yourself for that.
