I thought that title would get your attention  yes

Has anyone seen it? I'm currently watching Volume 2, and am finding it oh so disturbing, to the point where I have to pause it every 10 minutes and psyche myself up to continue watching. Lars Von Trier is one of my favourite directors. Total disturbed weirdo, but I find his stuff enthralling and shocking in equal measure. He arouses more emotion in me than any other director, and Nymphomaniac is no exception. It is strangely unerotic, gratuitously explicit, intelligent, hilarious in parts, whilst also remaining incredibly difficult to watch and stomach. I'd advise the unconverted to stay well away, but for any fans of his to lap this one up.

As a side to this, I have been watching Nymphomaniac on my wife's Netflix account. Unfortunately now, as soon as anyone enters her account, they are greeted with 'Because you have been watching Nymphomaniac, we recommend the following..' and this is followed by a selection of erotic European semi-porn. I've been trying frantically to remove all trace of this movie, but the choice doesn't seem to exist in Netflix? Help? She hasn't seen it yet, but disaster looms  Cry

    God is Love.
Love is Blind. Stevie Wonder is blind. Therefore, Stevie Wonder is God.

I thought they were brilliant. Part one more so than two, though.

Yes Amoku, glad you agree Smiley

I've finished watching now. One of his finest works. I loved both volumes. I found the second part more distressing to watch. I could only get through the bit about the child going out in the snow by turning the volume up, and making a cup of tea in the kitchen whilst it played in the lounge. Very disturbing.

Know anything about Netflix and how to remove history?

Hmmm. I'm thinking that, perhaps it was a mistake to fast forward to all the good bits.

I was watching it at the cinema when they did the live satellite event with Q&A session. Couldn't avoid watching any scenes. The BDSM scenes were hard to watch.
