This term was just used on the Beeb.

What with OUP asking authors not to offend Muslims by using pig references in their books I was wondering what else.

Not allowed to support West.... United, live in Soutpton, Wolverpton,Walt Forest, New and East, , Mersmith and Ful, not allowed to say Momed,

With a few permutations, another word for unislamic becomes ra!

I misread the thread title as Bumming. For a minute I was ready to sympathise with the offended muslims, why would the Beeb be talking about bumming? Totally unecessary and offensive.

Isn't this an issue that really needs to be treated with humour - like it is haram even to think of the prophet because his name is haram - mohammed? That people should not call their children mohammed, that three little pigs should be banned - uh ....
