Good response, Rash. I can't even fathom that there are people who take that crap seriously.

He's no friend to the friendless
And he's the mother of grief
    There's only sorrow for tomorrow
    Surely life is too brief

    Tariq Ramadan's comments were interesting!

i heard few words from him., He says some verses are specific for Muhammad's time... that is running in circles..

delete those verses  from  the book... and preach Islamic world that these religious books are books of their time. For  21st century analytical human mind they are not words some super supreme god but filled with rubbish..

Go preach  that in mosques.. we will deal with politics .power grabbing in the name of religion after that ..

Do not let silence become your legacy.. Question everything
I renounced my faith to become a kafir,
the beloved betrayed me and turned in to  a Muslim

Even though it is extremely insulting and offensive I would never harm or restrict the rights of anyone to say that I deserve to burn in hell or that god hates me.

I might draw a cartoon though.

I am better than your god......and so are you.
