I guess if you are sexually repressed and see women as a sub-human piece of flesh only created to cater to your desires, then taking an elevator with a non mahram woman would be very dangerous... for the woman that is...

Is the average elevator ride long enough for the average sexcapade? I've been to Vegas, and taken a ride in the elevator in the Stratosphere. The elevators there are incredibly fast; you'd think that, since there are so many floors (113 of them), it would take forever, but it doesn't: the elevators have a max speed of 540 meters/minute, while the average elevator speed is as slow as 134 meters/minute. So it's about four times as fast as normal elevators. The height of the building is only 350 meters, so if you get in on the bottom floor and go straight to the top floor without stopping to pick up passengers, it would take under a minute (about 40 seconds) to complete the ride. The Stratosphere isn't a very recent building in comparison to a lot of other skyscrapers. So, with all recent construction, the height of the building is probably directly proportional to the speed of its elevators, so if you did have an elevator ride with one other person and no stops between the floors you were going to/from, even in an incredibly tall building, the elevator ride would be reasonably short.

Tl;dr--a bunch of science means the guys who made this video apparently last about a minute. Which from what I have heard isn't a good thing.

Even assuming no one else has gotten on or off, you're probably going somewhere on the elevator (I mean, what types of buildings have an elevator? office, hotel, apartment, shopping center, transit center...) and there are probably people between you and there, given that most places with an elevator are places that there are a lot of people at because the large number of people going from one place to another is what is causing the need for the elevator. Unless you're going into a mine shaft, I guess, but there would still probably be more than 2 people in a mine.
