Hey it is good to hear you are enjoying life. If you live alone by yourself you can do whatever you want.
Funnily enough my unbelief is like you too happening during ramadan. Funnily enough I read about atheism and how Islam is not true during Ramadan. Not all shaitan are gone during Ramadan. From what I heard those big ones are gone.
I am curious how you stopped praying in front of your family?
It seems like the transformation to complete Imams seems really temporary when Ramadan ends. I guess people would want to meet that important "night" to have their sins forgiven or getting the rewards of a thousand months worshiping.
As an apostate you just fast just for your health, don't need to think too much about religion. Hey it is a good time to lower blood glucose level. This is what I plan to face this with to make it easier. I'll still pray to relax my own mind the normal 5 time prayers. As for taraweeh you could do less than 20, perhaps you could do 8 or skip somedays. Even if you are in the mosque and you are doing 20 you can stop anytime you want.
As for reading the Quran you can read on your own pace or even choose not to read. It is your choice how you practice Ramadan. The fasting part from dawn to dusk is the one that would be most hold in high regard.
Thanks for replying, and that's interesting. I thought all of the Devils were locked up during Ramadan, maybe there is an evil force I can blame my disbelief on after all.

And as for the praying, I gradually stopped - my family and I used to pray together in a big room, except for my dad. He was never religious, he's never fasted or prayed for some reason. So, I just stopped praying with everyone else and said I was praying in my room instead. They thought I had became more religious because of this because I spent so much time in there.

But I was on sites like CEMB, TSR, just researching about religion, etc. But slowly, the family praying together thing disintegrated and nobody asked each other about it. Now, it's obvious that no one prays except for my mum, who brings it up every once in a while.
I completely agree with you on the act of fasting and am planning to do the full thirty days. It does a lot for your health and cleans out your toxins, so I think I'll join in. Again, thanks for your advice.
