Sometimes Australian politics rocks. This is one of those times.

The background to this is that a sports commentator got huffy the other day when an Aboriginal football player did a spontaneous war dance at the opposing team's supporters in the stands. These supporters have a history of giving this particular player a hard time (dunno why) so he was basically giving them the finger after just scoring a goal. Commentator then got huffy about it.
Anyway, the upshot of it is that today the New South Wales Upper House has passed a parliamentary motion, officially labeling said commentator "a continual boofhead".
Eddie McGuire labelled 'boofhead' by NSW Upper HouseAFL identity Eddie McGuire has been condemned as a "continual boofhead" by the Upper House of the NSW Parliament for comments he made about an Indigenous dance performed by Sydney Swans star Adam Goodes.
The Upper House passed a motion, moved by Greens MP Jeremy Buckingham, supporting Australian of the Year Goodes as a "role model to all" and condemning McGuire for "being a continual boofhead".
Goodes performed the dance on-field during the Swans' match against Carlton on Friday, later saying it was an Indigenous "war dance" he was taught by underage Indigenous AFL team the Flying Boomerangs.
During a Fox Footy broadcast, McGuire described the dance as "quite aggressive" and said: "I don't think we ever want to see it again, to be perfectly honest."
He later said Goodes should have flagged his intention to perform the dance before the game so commentators such as himself "could have been able to educate and understand the situation".
The Upper House motion said:
This House condemns Mr Eddie Macguire [sic], the President of the Collingwood Football Club, for:
(a) his comment that "This is a made-up dance, this is not something that has been going on for years.", and
(b) being a continual boofhead.

Devious, treacherous, murderous, neanderthal, sub-human of the West.
